ABOUT US
My late wife Evena, my son Samuel, my daughter Marike and I (Petrus), attended a conference at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship in Canada in January of 2008. The theme of the conference was The Heart of the Father towards Us. We received the ministry of the Holy Spirit and soaking (resting) in His presence. This precious experience sowed the seed and led to the start of Fatherheart Ministry.
Our first service was held in February of 2009. Today, Fatherheart Ministry functions as Fatherheart Church. Fatherheart is about the love of our Father God, the truth of who we are in Christ Jesus, and the encouragement of people in their normal daily lives. As John 15:5 TPT says, “I (Jesus) am the sprouting vine and you’re My branches. As you live in union with Me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from Me you are powerless.”
At Fatherheart, we live by faith and not by sight (see 2 Corinthians 5:7)! Faith is an extraordinary journey, and Scripture is the doorway to experiencing the presence of God in our lives.
This journey as a believer in Jesus Christ is not about striving to mature into someone new. It is about awakening to the truth of your true new identity, which is who you already are in Christ. A beloved child of God, holy and without fault in His eyes (see Ephesians 1:4), carrying His Spirit within you (see 1 Corinthians 3:16)! A glorious reflection of God Himself! As Galatians 2:20a TPT says, “My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives His life through me—we live in union as one!”
Impossible not to address is the natural outflow of the supernatural love of the Anointed One: Fatherheart loves Israel, prays for Israel and stands by Israel! חי ישׂראל עם – Am Yisrael Chai! – The Nation of Israel lives!
